Before being an ELF I have this awkward aura in me. I am
always the laughing stock because I am fat. My classmates calling me insulting
names but that didn’t stop me from studying hard, I become the cream of the
crop, but it didn’t stop them either to bully me again. I was like why do they
can’t accept me for what I am?
One day
while watching Pops-In-Seoul, This Music Video is playing
COOKING? COOKING! - SUPER JUNIOR H
And I was like, “Oh maybe I need to try harder like the girl in the
video.” So I started Googling the artist and found-out that it was Super Junior-H,
which is said to be the sub-group of a 13-members idol group, Super Junior. I
even watched it again on Youtube and then I notice this song of them called
HAPPINESS, and every single nerves in my body starts crying.
The
feeling of being love is what I am always seeking from others because I feel
like no one loves me, so I cried when I heard it. Then NEORAGO comes along
which also talks about love. Hearing them sing and say “Forever” makes me feel
love. Those were the times I feel like giving up already but then they grab my
hand from letting go on the edge of a cliff; a hand that gives me hope to do my
very best in every way. They taught me what really happiness means. They taught
me what really being love feels. And the feeling of belongingness is what they
make me feel complete.
My mom
told me that I have matured in my decisions in life, that I have become
stronger and that I will never be fool in love, because Super Junior taught me
that I don’t need a physical boyfriend with a shallow love but what I need is
self-esteem, be me and not let other people bring me down. Super Junior makes
me believe that even the impossible dreams are possible to achieve.
Because of them I know what I want to be, what
I need and to appreciate the little things in my life. Even though I am addicted
to them, and wanted to go beyond what I can, and sometimes I wanted to buy them
(if only I am rich), I am contented to what my mom can give me.
Being a
fangirl is like being someone who is willing to dream, accept and achieve the
things, people or the situation given to them. Being a fangirl is not simply
idolizing them but also loving them unconditionally and supporting them
endlessly.
When I become an ELF I met these girls.
I’m happy that I found this great people in my High School. I merely can’t imagine my life without their color. A High School without their great support to my fangirling activity is a dull senior year to me.
I thank them, for sharing, crying and laughing for all my
craziness over Super Junior, I should have been an outcast without this girls.
This girls showed me the foundation of true friendship, I mean they all know my
stories and such, but they brought new hope that I deserve to not to be
betrayed. I’m grateful because they were all their to listen, to laugh, to
sing, to dance with me and to fall in love with SUPER JUNIOR that we know that
is impossible to meet. (But I hope)
These are my ELF treasures:
Now, I
only have to wait for my #RealUNLI moment to arrive right before my eyes. I am
